Fort Walton Beach Business Flooded.

Flooding occurred throughout Fort Walton Beach and Destin Area last Tueday, affecting several Fort Walton Beach and Destin homes and businesses. It was reported around 11 inches of rain fell last Tuesday causing damage to areas throughout Fort Walton Beach and Destin, FL. If your house or business experienced any moisture intrusion, there are some things you should keep in mind while trying to mitigate the damage and keeping your families and employees safe:

1) Flood water is treated as Category 3 water by restoration specialists and insurance companies. This means that it is referred to as grossly contaminated. It could contain harmful bacteria and has the potential to cause health issues to patrons if not mitigated properly.
